Terminal C: $3 Billion Modernization Underway

Terminal F: Expansion to 31 Gates With $4 Billion Investment

DFW Airport is expanding Terminal F with a $4 billion investment to meet rising demand. The terminal will grow to 31 gates, nearly doubling its initial plan.

Construction is underway, with the first gates expected to open by 2027 and full completion by 2030.

DFW Airport is upgrading both its Skylink system and roadways to support growing passenger numbers. New Skylink trains and tech are being added to reduce wait times and improve transfers.

A recent Instagram post announced temporary roadway closures to support construction, including Terminal A’s north exit and the SH 114 entry ramp. Detours are in place, so travelers should plan ahead:
